Liberty Aviation Group, Inc. and its subsidiary Liberty Airlines, Inc. were organized, incorporated and registered in Liberia by Messrs. Captain Raynold A. Mitchell, an experienced airline transport pilot and veteran Liberian aviation administrator and Winston Allen Tolbert, a Liberian professional businessman and economist whose collective knowledge of the West African air transport, aviation and business environment, challenges and background date back to the early years of Air Liberia in the 1970s.

Certifications and Licenses:

Liberty Aviation Group, Inc. and its subsidiary of Liberty Airlines, Inc. were granted an Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC) to operate full service air transport business in Liberia in July 2004 and subsequently designated as a “Liberian Flag Carrier” to the traditional West Africa routes to include Lagos, Accra, Conakry, Freetown, Banjul, Dakar and Abidjan in July 2004 by the Ministry of Transport via the then Liberia Bureau of Civil Aviation.

October 1, 2010 Liberty Aviation Group, Inc./Liberty Airlines, Inc. applied for and were granted annually renewable Air Services Licenses (ASL) by the now reconstituted Liberia Civil Aviation Authority (LCAA).

Joint Venture Relationships:

Liberty Aviation Group, Inc./Liberty Airlines, Inc. diversified, expanded and strengthened its aviation services delivery base and capacity by formulating joint ventures with strategic partners in Portugal and the Republic of South Africa.

 Liberty Aviation Group, Inc. entered a strategic Joint Venture relationship with a division company of United Helicopter Service (UHS), namely Heliportugal S.A. (HP), both of Lisbon, Portugal in October 2010 in an effort to upgrade, expand and enhance its aviation services
